OUR CHURCH FAMILY:

Carol Evink is going to have a procedure for back pain done tomorrow. Please pray that it goes well, and that the Lord would bless her recovery.

Continue to pray for Evelyn Baas, Jeanine Benson, Carla Lonneman, Dave Evink, Linda Shank, Marla Miller, the elderly, those with ongoing health issues, and those grieving the loss of loved ones.

REQUESTED ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The food distribution backpack program at Hancock School, run through the Nellie DeJager Fund, is looking for someone to help coordinate the ordering and picking up of food for the backpacks. If you would be willing to fill this position, or are interested in learning more about it, please talk to Pastor David soon.

Council is now accepting bids for mowing and trimming the parsonage and church lawn weekly, and the ball field every other week. Please contact Roger Evink at 320-808-6640.

Highlights of the February Council Meeting

1. The February Council Meeting was held on February 14, 2023.

2. The Financial Report for January 2023 was reviewed and approved.

3. Pastor David gave a report on his work and visits.

4. Building and Grounds will be ordering material for siding for the parsonage.

5. The Education Committee will be meeting on March 28, 2023.

6. The Worship Committee reported on their February 7 meeting.

7. Council discussed the safe church policy.

8. Classis Lake Superior will meet at Calvary CRC in Edina on March 6-7. Pastor David and Jack Van Eps will attend as delegates.

9. Council approved a presentation by Shannon Foss about Safe Families for Children, date TBD.

10. The next Council meeting will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023
